The Tibet Museum Concludes Three-day Photo Exhibition at Mainpat

Mainpat: The Tibet Museum on 12 February concluded three-day photo Exhibition at Mainpat, Chattisgarh. The exhibition, which coincide with the three-day “Mainpat Carnival 2017” an annual event organised by Chattisgarh Tourism to promote Mainpat as a tourist hub, was participated by the Tibetan Settlement office, Mainpat to raise awareness about Tibetan culture, history and it’s centuries old relationship with India.

The Chief Guest, Sh Ujjawal Porwal, the Deputy Collector, Mainpat inaugurated the three-day exhibition on 10 February in front of a large gathering of Tibetans and locals. Mr Porwal, guided by the Settlement officer Mr Dawa and staff of Tibet Museum viewed each photo panels observantly and acknowledged the informativeness and resourcefulness of the exhibits.

The exhibition comprising of themes, “Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama” and “India and Tibet – Ancient Ties, Current Bond” were showcased from 10-12 February and was observed by Tibetans, local Indians and tourists.
