Tibet Museum Showcases Photo Exhibition in Bodh Gaya

BODH GAYA: The Tibet Museum of DIIR, CTA is showcasing photo exhibition on two themes: “A Brief Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama” and “A Long Look Homeward” during the auspicious stay of HH the 14th Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya, Bihar.

The photo exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Nangzey Dorjee, BTMC Secretary accompanied by Amchi la of Namgyal Monastery on 16 January.

The dignitaries were led through the exhibition by the staff of the Tibet Museum. In his comment, Mr. Dorjee mentioned that the exhibition was well displayed and very informative for visitors to learn about Tibet’s past history. He concluded with congratulatory remarks and Tashi Delek to the Tibet Museum.

Following the inauguration, devotees and pilgrims from places visited the photo exhibition. Visitors include general public, monks and nuns, foreigners, Indians, police officials, students among others. The exhibition saw active visits and received cordial response from public. The photo exhibition of the Tibet Museum, DIIR, CTA will continue till 24 January.
