CLEMENT TOWN: The Tibet Museum of Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration on 5 July held an exhibition to mark and celebrate the 80th birthday of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. The exhibitions titled ‘Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’ and ‘India and Tibet- ancient ties and current bonds’ were exhibited near the Stupa, Mindrolling Monastery, Clementown, Dehradun.

The exhibition organised by the Tibetan settlement office, Dehradun was inaugurated by Sh. Ravinath Raman, District Magistrate, Dehradun along with His Eminence D.G. Khochhen Rinpoche, head Lama of Mindrolling Monastery, Clement town.

Despite incessant rain, Tibetans as well as local Indians and tourists came and saw the photo exhibition and film screening. Documentary films like ‘Compassion in exile, ‘A Man of Peace’ and ‘Red Flag over Tibet’ were screened.

DIIR Publications and Tibet Museum Newsletters were also distributed among the visitors.
