Exhibition on His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Tibet held in Kanyakumari and Goa

Sh Deepak Naik, the Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council, Vasco Da Gama, Goa inaugurated the one-day exhibition in Goa on 31 March 2017.
The one-day photo Exhibition in Nagercoil was held at St Francis Higher Secondary School and it attracted more than 300 students from the host school and the students of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Nagercoil.
The students were given a brief introduction about Tibet and His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama by Mr Jigme Tsultrim, head of ITCO after which the students viewed the photo exhibits enthusiastically. The exhibition in Nagercoil was organised successfully with consent and assistance from Father Flix Alexander, head of St Francis Senior Secondary School and Prof. Ramu Manivannan of Madras University, Chennai.
Sh Deepak Naik, the Chairperson of Mormugao Municipal Council, Vasco Da Gama, Goa, inaugurated the one-day exhibition in Goa on 31 March. The exhibition in Goa was held at Janta Vachanalaya, the public library of the Vasco Municipal council. Hundreds of locals including Tibetan shopkeepers in Vasco came and saw the exhibition.
The Tibet Museum in an effort to spread awareness about Tibetan history, Culture, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s contribution to Tibetan struggle, world peace and his three main commitments, has held traveling exhibition in Indian schools, Colleges and institutes in major Indian cities and towns.
The Tibet Museum also showcased the two-themed Photo Exhibition during the ‘Thank You India’ program in Madras University on 24 and 25 March.
