INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY (18th-19th MAY 2017)

The Tibet Museum in Dharamshala will join museum around the world to celebrate the 40th International Museum Day from May 18 – 19, 2017.

Chief Guest, Dr. Lobsang Sangay, President of Central Tibetan Administration will inaugurate the 40th International Museum Day celebration on May 18th, 2017.

The two-day long programme includes guided tours of the exhibition “A Long Look Homeward” and “Capturing Tibet”, talk by former Tibetan political prisoner, Researcher of Tibet Policy Institute, Project officer of TWA and Tibetan Modern Artist.The two-day long event will be concluded with traditional Tibetan dance and gorshey (circle dance) in the evening of May 19th, 2017.
