The Tibet Museum Concludes Four-day Photo Exhibition at Indore, Madhya Pradesh

INDORE: The Tibet Museum of Department of Information and International Relations on 23 April concluded a four day photo exhibition in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.

An initiative of the Bharat-Tibbat Sahyog Manch, Indore and India Tibet Co-ordination office (ITCO), Delhi to raise awareness about Tibetan history, culture and art, the other participants included Sowa Rigpa (Tibetan science of healing) section from Central University of Tibetan Studies, Varanasi and Tibetan Thangka display and Thangka artist from the same institute.

The exhibition comprising two themes, i.e, ‘India and Tibet- Ancient Ties, current bonds’ and ‘Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’ were showcased at the Indore Haat, Dhakanwala Kua.

In spite of the scorching summer heat, the exhibition saw a regular flow of visitors in all four days. Free publications of Department of Information and International Relations were also distributed among the visitors to gain more insight.
