Traveling Exhibition in Sankisa
From October 4th to 7th, 2025, The Tibet Museum successfully organized a traveling exhibition at the Youth Buddhist Society (YBS) campus in Sankisa, Uttar Pradesh. The exhibition showcased two major themes:

Biography of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama

India and Tibet: Ancient Ties, Current Bonds
Day 1: October 4, 2025-Youth Interaction Day
The exhibition was formally inaugurated with Ms. Anjli Sharma (SDM) as the Chief Guest. Approximately 100 students, YBS staff members, and local residents visited the traveling exhibition.
Visitors were introduced to the inspiring life story of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the deep historical, spiritual, and cultural connections between India and Tibet.
In the evening, a Tibet-related documentary was screened at 7:30 PM in the Dhamma Hall for YBS hostel students, enhancing awareness through visual storytelling.
Day 2: Oct 5, 2025-Conference Day
On the second day, more than 500 people from different parts of Uttar Pradesh came to attend the conference at YBS.
It was a great chance to share Tibet’s rich culture and history with a larger audience. The museum staff gave clear and detailed explanations, which helped visitors learn more and ask questions about Tibet.
Day 3 & 4: October 6–7, 2025 – Abhidhamma Day & Katthin Dana Day
The exhibition remained open to the public during these spiritually significant days. The events drew Buddhist practitioners and community members, many of whom visited the displays and expressed deep appreciation for the initiative.
Conclusion-The traveling exhibition in Sankisa successfully fulfilled its mission to educate, engage, and inspire. By bringing the stories of Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama closer to Indian audiences, the Tibet Museum fostered greater understanding and solidarity.
The event also underscored the timeless spiritual and cultural ties between India and Tibet, reinforcing the importance of continued dialogue and awareness.
