The Tibet Museum Concludes Four-day Exhibition at Pathankot
PATHANKOT: The four-day exhibition organised by the Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations, CTA in cooperation with Partap World School in Pathankot, Punjab came to an end on 11 July 2016. SDM of Pathankot-Dr. Amit Mahajan ji, graced the last day of the exhibition as Chief Guest. Principal of AB College-Dr Dinesh Sharma Ji, Sh. Vinod Mahajan Ji-Deputy Governer-Lions Clubs International 3, 2, 1, D (2001-2002) were present at the event as guest of honors. Special guests for the occasion were Mrs. Muskan Thakur from Vaishno College and Mr Arpit Dogra.
All the dignitaries were highly impressed with the exhibition showcased. They also interacted with students of Partap world school and expressed their views and opinions with regard to the photo exhibition on His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s life and Indo-Tibet Relations. The exhibition was aimed to educate the visitors, particularly the students about His Holiness’ life and age-old relationship between Tibet and India.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma Ji, the principal of AB College, Pathankot stated, “His Holiness the Dalai Lama is apostle of peace, kindness and compassion. This exhibition will go a long way in spreading his message to the young boys and girls and through them to the entire society” at the closing ceremony.
The four-day long exhibition saw an overwhelming response from more than 1400 school children, teachers, parents and other visitors at the Partap World School in Pathankot, Punjab.
