The Tibet Museum Brings Man of Peace to Students Across Himachal Pradesh

The Tibet Museum recently screened its documentary Man of Peace for students across several schools in Himachal Pradesh, providing an opportunity to explore Tibet’s history and the lives and journeys of the 13th and 14th Dalai Lamas.

On 22 September, more than 300 students from TCV Gopalpur participated in the screening. Students from Classes 10 and 12 attended the morning session, while Classes 9 and 11 took part in the afternoon. The programme included interactive activities that encouraged students to engage with the film and reflect on its themes.

On 23 September, Man of Peace was screened for students at TCV Suja, followed by interactive activities that encouraged further discussion and reflection. On 24 September, the programme continued at Dzongsar Kanishka School, Sambhota Chauntra School, and TCV Chauntra School, where students from Class 6 and above, along with teachers, took part in the screenings and activities.

The sessions created a space for students to learn, reflect, and share their thoughts. Their enthusiasm, thoughtful questions, and active participation made each programme a meaningful and engaging experience.

Through such educational initiatives, The Tibet Museum continues to introduce younger generations to Tibet’s history, culture, and heritage, while encouraging curiosity, dialogue, and a deeper understanding of the legacy of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
