The Tibet Museum’s travelling Exhibition themed” Mapping Tibet” at Upper TCV School, Dharamshala.

The Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations(DIIR) of the Central Tibetan Administration(CTA), organized a day-long traveling exhibition themed “Mapping Tibet” at Upper TCV School Dharamshala on July 2, 2024. The exhibition aimed to educate younger generations about the evolution of Tibet’s map from the late 17th century to the present day.

 

The event was primarily targeted at students in grade eight and above and was open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Students from higher grades showed particular interest in the exhibition.

 

The school’s President, Mr. Sonam Sichoe, the Director, Mr. Tsultrim Dorji, and the Principal, Mrs. Tenzin Choekyi, visited the exhibition. They recommended hosting more such events on the school campus to further enrich the students’ knowledge in a comprehensive manner.\
