Tibet Museum Participates in Museum Educators’ Conference in Mumbai

Mumbai: The Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations participated in an extensive two-day Museum Educators’ Conference in Mumbai on the 9th and 10th of March.

The main objective of this conference is to create a Museum Educators’ Forum in the country in collaboration with all the museums in India.

Around 30 educators and museum professionals from leading government and non-government museums and other cultural institutions in India were gathered to present their ideas. The Tibet Museum did a ten-minute presentation to promote its unique objects-oriented storytelling exhibitions among the participants which garnered much interest from the participants. Moreover, it provided a great platform to showcase Tibet’s rich cultural heritage to a wider audience.
