The Tibet Museum to Showcase Exhibition in Four Indian Cities
DHARAMSHALA: The Tibet Museum of Department of Information and International Relations, Central Tibetan Administration will be undertaking a month long tour of four Indian metropolitan cities to showcase photo exhibition on Tibet and its people. The Tibet Museum is slated to travel to Baroda, Chennai, Bengaluru and New Delhi in the month of January and showcase three different exhibition titles namely, ‘His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s Three Commitments in Life’, ‘India and Tibet – Ancient Ties, Current Bonds’ and ‘The Burning Questions – Why are Tibetans Turning to Self-immolations in Tibet’.
In addition to the exhibition, the Tibet Museum will also screen documentary films on Tibetan history, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and current situations inside Tibet, in order to complete their experience and add to their understanding of the three exhibitions.
The planned exhibition and documentary film screening is aimed at creating awareness about Tibet history, its historical relations with India and its people, to inform Indian public about current situation in Tibet and how it matter to both Indian and Tibetans.

Baroda 6 – 7th January 2015
Chennai 12 – 13th January 2015
Bengaluru 17 January 2015
New Delhi 23 – 24th January 2015
