USAID Delegation Visits the New Tibet Museum

Dharamshala: On 24th March 2022, the USAID delegation visited The Tibet Museum during the 4th day of their visit. Tenzin Topdhen, Deputy Director of Tibet Museum, gave a brief tour of the museum to the representatives of USAID comprising of Office Director Mark Tegenfeldt, Deputy Office Director Dr Poonam Smith-Sreen, Development Assistance Specialist Balaka Dey and Project Management Specialist Radharani Thakuria from General Development Office.

The Office Director Mark Tegenfelt stated that it was an overwhelming experience, and appreciated the enthusiasm of the Tibetans despite what they had gone through. The Deputy Office Director, Ms Poonam Smith-Sreen, appreciated the effort to keep the Tibetan heritage alive.

The Tibet Museum is delighted to welcome all the representatives of USAID who visited today and appreciated the effort. “We are very grateful to USAID and other funders for their support and contribution,” said Deputy Director Tenzin Topdhen.
