DHARAMSHALA: The Tibet Museum of the Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR), Central Tibetan Administration showcased a two-day photo exhibition on Tibet and His Holiness the Dalai Lama at the Woodstock International School in Mussoorie.

The exhibition was held after receiving an invitation from Mr. Brian Dunn, Chaplain and Head of Religious Education, Woodstock International School, Mussoorie.

More than 400 students and teachers from 60 different countries came to view the exhibition. The exhibition was followed by a documentary movie screening on Tibet.

Through exhibition and documentary films, students were apprised about Tibet’s history and culture, the current situation inside Tibet, and the Tibetan people’s life in exile. DIIR publications including booklets, newsletters and Tibetan Bulletin were also distributed to the visitors to provide further information for those interested to read more about Tibet.

Inspired by the exhibition, several students of the school have taken notes and extracts from the exhibition and posted it in their personal blogs.

The Tibet Museum will showcase their next exhibition at Nainital, Uttarkhand, coinciding with the Autumn Festival from 11-14 November.
