Traveling Exhibition in Mandi and Pandoh Tibetan Settlement
The Tibet Museum organized a travelling exhibition in Mandi and Pandoh from 9–13 March 2026, aimed at raising awareness about the life and legacy of 14th Dalai Lama.
Featuring panel displays on the biography of His Holiness, the exhibition was installed with the support of local residents and settlement staff. It was formally inaugurated by Madam Rupinder Kaur, SDM of Mandi, and remained open to the public throughout 11 March, drawing strong interest and engagement from local visitors.
The exhibition continued on 12 March, welcoming more visitors from the Mandi area. Later that day, it travelled to Pandoh Tibetan Settlement, where it was set up with the assistance of the local community.
On 13 March, the exhibition opened to settlement residents and concluded successfully by noon.
Overall, the programme was successfully carried out with the support of settlement staff and local volunteers. It served as an important platform for public education and cultural awareness, receiving positive engagement from both the Tibetan community and local residents.
