Travelling Exhibition: Guru Dronacharya College of Nursing, Tang
On 27 April 2026, The Tibet Museum, in collaboration with the Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG) and Monlam AI, successfully conducted an awareness seminar at Guru Dronacharya College of Nursing, Tang. The event was organized by Rishi Kumar and his team from Himalaya Parivar.
The seminar brought together over 165 students, along with faculty members and distinguished guests, including Mr. B.N. Raina and Mr. Lalit Sharma (Managing Directors), Dr. Ankur Pathania (Principal), and Ms. Shalini Thakur (Vice Principal and Chief Guest).
As part of the program, The Tibet Museum presented its exhibition titled “India and Tibet: Ancient Ties and Current Bonds,” which highlights the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and civilizational connections between the two regions.
The seminar featured a series of insightful talks by prominent speakers. Tibetan activist and writer Tenzin Tsundue spoke on Tibet’s history and its enduring relationship with India. Tenzin Woesel, Regional Coordinator of V-TAG, addressed the current situation inside Tibet, offering perspectives that challenge prevailing narratives and shed light on realities under Chinese occupation. Tenzin Kelsang from Monlam AI emphasized the importance of preserving the Tibetan language in a rapidly changing world.
The event served as a meaningful platform to engage young minds, fostering awareness and dialogue on Tibet’s history, culture, and contemporary issues. Through such initiatives, The Tibet Museum continues its commitment to education and outreach, ensuring that the story of Tibet reaches wider audiences.
In alignment with its mission, V-TAG reaffirmed its dedication to advocating for Tibet—one campus, one conversation, and one voice at a time.
